Clearshot Services is operationally organized into two synergistic divisions under the Clearshot umbrella:
SITE DEVELOPMENT AND MODIFICATION The exponential increase in usage of wireless communication has caused carriers to expand their networks which has naturally led to an increase in demand for tower site development services. In addition, as the evolution of new wireless technologies has increased, the pace at which carriers change out older equipment for newer equipment has increased. Site development begins with identifying a physical location that fulfills a need in the wireless network that is specified by a carrier. Once a strategic site is located, rights to the tower site are acquired and specialized engineering services are used to design the site. Next, the site is prepared, the tower is erected, communication equipment is installed and the site is commissioned for service. Modifications and co-locations generally involve replacing antennas, moving antennas to a different location on the tower or adjusting an existing antenna. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR There are hundreds of thousands of cell towers across the US, and each requires periodic maintenance and inspections. Site maintenance companies are thriving, in part, because the Federal Communication Commission (“FCC”) requires documentation and proof that periodic inspections have been performed. In addition, the intensifying competition among carriers has increased the demand for routine maintenance and emergency repair services as carriers strive to keep their networks operating at peak capacity. Routine services include landscape maintenance, inspections, painting, fence repair, cable reinforce, generator maintenance, HVAC service, light replacement, site audits and others. Repair services are also required due to vandalism and increasing theft of copper parts. |
